MAVIS resulted from a joint research
project between the National Physical
Laboratory and Loughbor ugh University
of Technology started in 1976. Many
different disabilities were studied as
part of this work and an easy to use
box MAVIS resulted. During the last
year a number of different disabled
people have used the system with very
successful results.
