E-Scape is a powerful compositional and performance tool for musicians using a variety of accessibility interfaces. This includes those using one, two or three
switches. It was originally developed as part of the Drake Music Project and has been
used for many years around the world by disabled musicians.
This trial version of E-Scape (v2.3 dating from November 2008) has been tested on XP and Vista and comes with comprehensive instructions. Although this sequencer
can seem daunting at first, it doesn't take a lot of effort to find ways to create and perform some fine sounding music.

Set your accessibility switch/es to trigger a "1", "2" and/or "3"
(see JoyToKey).
Use "2" and "3" to open a menu and more up and down it.
Use "1" to make a selection.
Select "File" to open a pre-recorded song.
Select "Perform" to conduct a song using your accessibility switch/es.

A pure one-switch mode can be selected.
Huge potential for users of all abilities with the right support.
By connecting a MIDI source much higher quality sounds can be accessed.
